Aline Studios was established in 1989 as a small home studio with one reformer.  I also taught sold out Pilates matwork classe in gyms all over Southern California.  My home studio grew and by 1995 I had opened my first location in Costa Mesa.   

As the studio grew my clients developed and transformed as well.  The program naturally expanded and by 1998 we had a full service studio including  Barre Classes, Ballet Fitness, Gyrokenisis/Gyrotonic, and Stretch Conditioning classes. 

My teacher education programs began in 1995 as the need for qualified instructors began to appear.   Aline Certification Program is respected for producing successful graduates.

In 1998 I was invited to participate in training professional surfers for Quicksilver and Roxy. I worked with World Champions Jeff Booth, Tom Curran, Sophia Mulonovich, Chelsea Georgeson, Lisa Andersen, and team riders Dave Post, Danny Nichols, and Nate Tyler.  I was invited to work on location in Hawaii where I introduced Pilates progams to team riders during the 2005 Roxy Pro Series in Oahu. 

I continued to work with Roxy Team Manager Rachel Greff and Lisa Andersen educating them on the benefits of this type of training for professional women in surfing. Pilates and Gyrotonics are truly innovative and completely successful programs for professional surfers. Encompassing all they need in training for stamina, endurance, and injury prevention as well as deep abdominal strengthening and muscle balancing. It also provides the mental concentration and discipline needed to be a successful competitor.

I initiated and established successful programs for Yoga Place (now Yoga Works) Costa Mesa/Laguna, The Vintage Indian Wells, The Girls Gym Newport Beach/Laguna, Athletic Club for Women, Ikos Gym, Lakeshore Towers, Revolution Studio, and TRAC Physical Therapy.
